The second issue of “Artă în lucru, nr. 2” magazine is available online, on feeder.ro/shop, and will soon be available for free in the Bucharest Metropolitan Library network.
The editorial project produced by Save or Cancel takes the form of an interactive magazine, inviting readers to become co-authors of new artworks and explore contemporary urban art in a new way. The magazine „Artă în lucru, nr. 2” is a puzzle containing materials and cultural products from different fields. The magazine encourages creative thinking through colouring or rebus exercises, integrates, connects the dots, and finds the differences between images.
The magazine „Artă în lucru, nr. 2” offers for colouring, completing and investigating the works and sketches of some of the most active and appreciated artists such as Aeul, Homeboy, Ionut Popescu, iZZY iZVNE, MSER, Ortaku, Pandele, Pisica Pătrată, RUN and Serebe together with several emerging artists such as Alexa Lincu, Antonia C, Coon One, Doni, Eugen Munteanu, Louis K. Jamal și SANDi. In addition, the magazine contains three sketches by Andreea Gabriela Tudor (1st place), Aara (2nd place) and Maria Tender (3rd place), who were chosen as winners by public vote following the open call launched within the project.
The publication „Artă în lucru, nr. 2” presents a series of activities, games and sketches that spark creativity and stimulate interest in art among general audiences, children and adults alike, and are meant to bring them closer to the work of Romanian and international artists working in various fields such as illustration, design, graphic design and street art.
The second issue of „Artă în lucru, nr. 2” aims to lay the foundations of a publication remarkable for the quality of its content and selection of artists, continuing Save or Cancel’s efforts to promote and support Romanian contemporary art.
